We have 12 in-patient stables and an additional isolation unit where our dedicated 24 hour nursing staff, under close veterinary supervision, take excellent care of our in-patients until they are ready to leave.
Horses may need to stay here with us for a number of reasons:
- After most surgery close professional observation and care will be needed until recovery is sufficient to allow return home
- Intensive medical treatment is best managed under these conditions when frequent dosage or intra-venous fluids are needed
- When close professional observation is needed to reach a diagnosis with a difficult problem.
We use deep shavings beds and feed only the best quality, low dust meadow hay. All horses are groomed daily and we stock a wide range of horse feeds to maintain dietary continuity when your horse is hospitalised.
