Ian Wright MA VetMB, DEO, DipECVS, MRCVS
Ian obtained the Diploma in Equine Orthopaedics from the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons in 1991 and became a Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Surgery in 1993. He has been recognised by the RCVS as a specialist in equine surgery since 1992. Ian regularly attends Scott Dunn Equine Vets to perform specialist surgical procedures.
Alastair Kay BVSc MS Diplomate ACVS-LA MRCVSc
Alastair graduated from the University of Liverpool in 1998. He then entered equine private practice for 4 years prior to working in specialised referral practice in Newmarket (UK) and Lexington (Kentucky) before completing an equine surgical residency and Masters Degree at The Ohio State University (USA) in 2008.
In 2009 Alastair was accepted into the American College of Veterinary Surgeons as a Large Animal Surgeon and since that time has worked as a referral surgeon in institutions and private practices in the US and UK dealing with race and sports performance horses, pleasure horses, breeding stock and the developing foal.
Bryan O’Meara, MVB MVM CertES(Orth) Dipl ECVS MRCVS
Bryan is an equine vet that specialises in Equine Surgery. He works with veterinarians offering a surgical opinion on lameness or surgically treatable disease. His main interests are the upper airway, joint surgery (keyhole) and surgery to treat lameness.
Jessica Kidd, BA DVM CertES(Orth) DipECVS MRCVS
Jessica holds the RCVS certificate in Equine Surgery (Orthopaedics), is a Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Surgeons and is an RCVS and European recognised specialist in Equine Surgery.
Areas of interest are both soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery; diagnostic imaging and investigation of lameness cases as well as neonatology and care of the pregnant mare.
