Laura Gabe - Yard Manager
Laura graduated from Warwickshire College in 2008 after studying Equine Science. From there she worked at Redwings veterinary unit and a small private British Warmblood stud before starting with Scott Dunn’s in 2010. Now yard manager, Laura takes a keen interest in the post operative care of in-patients. Alongside the running of the hospital yard, Laura is a vet assistant and driver for Kempton and Sandown National Hunt meets.
Laura has been around horses from a very early age and has two horses of her own, Oscar and Houdini, along with a very lively pointer puppy called Bentley.
Emily joined the Scott Dunn’s nursing team in 2012. She graduated with an FdSc in Equine Science in 2010. Before, during and after graduating, Emily worked within the polo discipline in Australia, New Zealand and Europe. Emily has also represented her country several times in polo tournaments held in New Zealand.
Outside of work, Emily can be seen with a glass of Pimms on the polo sidelines.
Ami Trimmer - Groom/Nurse
Ami grew up with horses and also helped to manage a busy stud and livery yard. More recently Ami had been working as a Manager in a Golf club where she helped develop it into a profit making business and gave her an insight into running a company.
Outside of work Ami likes to spend time on her own yard with her three mares as well as he one eyed cocker spaniel ‘Wink’.
Emily Topping - Groom/Nurse
Emily graduated from Myerscough College in 2010 specialising in breeding, since then she has worked in America and Spain for International dressage riders and when she returned from the UK, then when she returned to the UK, worked in Great Windsor Park for the last 3 years as a private groom.
Outside of work you can usually find me boxing, playing football or in the gym.
