Inpatients

We may require your horse to come into the clinic for treatment, surgical procedures or more time-consuming investigations. Our yard has 13 stables, and our dedicated team of nurses and patient care assistants will ensure your horse receives the highest level of care.  Our ICI stables are equipped with CCTV and heat lamps for patients requiring a higher level of monitoring and care.

Things to consider when bringing your horse into the clinic:

• Check with your vet whether you should continue to administer any medication before the examination.
• Bring the horses passport, tack and lunging equipment in case.
• Be prepared that shoes may be removed and at some stage your horse may have small areas clipped.
• You are welcome to leave your horse at the clinic and pick it up on the same evening or the following day.
• If your horse is staying for multiple days, you are welcome to visit between 10am-3pm by prior arrangement.
• If staying overnight, bring any medication, supplements and rugs where necessary.
