Castrations
Our team of vets can perform castration at your premises or at our clinic. Most castrates can be performed under standing sedation.
Laser surgery for sarcoids and other skin masses
We have a class 4 diode laser for removal of sarcoids. Removing them with a laser can help to reduce the risk of recurrence.
Elective surgery
Tom McParland BVetMed DiplACVS (LA) MRCVS Diplomate, American College of Veterinary Surgeons, our Specialist surgeon from Valley Equine Hospital performs some procedures at our clinic such as: arthroscopy, tenoscopy, airway surgery, standing sinus surgery, kissing spine surgery.
More and more surgery is performed under standing sedation with local anaesthetic. However, some surgery can only be done under general anaesthesia. Our well-equipped theatre, recently refurbished recovery box and dedicated ICU stables ensure your horse will receive the highest standard of care before and after any surgery and be monitored to the highest degree during anaesthesia.
Referrals
Should it ever be required, we have the support of the multi-discipline team of Specialist veterinary surgeons at the Valley Equine Hospital in Lambourn, Endell Equine Hospital in Salisbury, B&W Equine Hospital in Gloucestershire, and Bell Equine veterinary Clinic in Kent who are on hand for advice and to whom your horse may be referred if specialist investigation, treatment or surgery is required.
